Chicago: City of Neighborhoods explores the unique character and culture of Chicago's diverse communities, focusing on neighborhoods like Lincoln Park, Logan Square, and Bridgeport. Each area has its own story to tell: Lincoln Park is known for its historic architecture, lush green spaces, and iconic attractions like the Lincoln Park Zoo; Logan Square embodies a creative spirit with its thriving art scene, eclectic restaurants, and vibrant murals; Bridgeport reflects Chicago’s working-class roots with its rich cultural traditions and strong sense of community. This book celebrates the individuality of each neighborhood while showcasing the typography and design that connects their distinct identities into a cohesive narrative about Chicago’s dynamic urban fabric.

【芝加哥：鄰里的城市】探索了芝加哥多元社區的獨特性格和文化，專注於林肯公園、羅根廣場和布里奇波特等鄰里。每個區域都有自己獨特的故事：林肯公園以其歷史建築、郁郁蔥蔥的綠地以及如林肯公園動物園等標誌性景點聞名；羅根廣場則展現了創意精神，擁有蓬勃發展的藝術場景、多元化的餐廳以及充滿活力的壁畫；布里奇波特則反映了芝加哥的工人階級根源，擁有豐富的文化傳統和強烈的社區感。這本書既慶祝每個區域的個性，也展示了將這些區域獨特身份連接在一起的字體和設計，構成了芝加哥動態城市結構的凝聚性敘事。

To visually represent these vibrant neighborhoods, I captured photographs of each area and reimagined them through abstract and artistic patterns. These transformed images serve as decorative elements throughout the book, blending personal artistic interpretation with the essence of each neighborhood. By incorporating these visuals into the typography and layout design, the book not only tells a story about Chicago's diverse communities but also invites readers to experience the city’s rich textures and layers from a fresh perspective. This project is a celebration of Chicago’s spirit, blending design and storytelling to honor the individuality and interconnectedness of its neighborhoods.

為了展現這些充滿活力的社區，我拍下了每個地區的照片，然後用抽象或藝術的方式重新創作，讓它們變成全書的裝飾元素。這些重新設計的圖案，不僅融入了我個人的藝術風格，也帶出了每個社區的特色。透過把這些視覺元素融入字體設計和版面，我希望這本書不只是講述芝加哥多元社區的故事，更能用全新的視角帶讀者體驗這座城市的豐富與多層次。這個項目其實是一種對芝加哥精神的致敬，用設計和故事來展現每個社區的獨特與相互連結。
